Amen! . . . and, I think we can do better than Newt. I've had various opinions of him over the years but I'd be willing to get behind him again IF there weren't others far more capable, with solid integrity, out there waiting for us to locate them. No need to repeat that these are extraordinary times calling for extraordinary citizens!

I have been reviewing the most recent political books as they become available and Newt Gingrich now has two books on the "best seller" lists and he appears as a guest commentator on the Fox News Channel keeping his image before the voters..

Newt Gingrich was recently interviewed on one of the Fox News political commentary programs about being a presidential candidate in 2012 and he said "If the American people call I will run."

I really liked Newt back in the contract with America days. Thought he showed a lot of common sense. To bad the republicans didn't keep the 'contract' and didn't hold the line on spending. That being said, I think as he has aged he has gotten more liberal in his ideas; or perhaps I've gotten more conservative. Either way if it was a choice between Sarah Palin and Newt.....sorry Newt but you can keep writing books.

I changed my opinion on Newt when I saw him attending one of the Bohemian Grove "good old boys" romp in the woods. I do not trust any politician who is a part of any of the secret societies.

I think he is a rhino , You see who he backed and that is who he is a party person and he will work and vote along party lines and not for what is right. That is what is wrong with these two parties. He made his bed let him lie in it. These books he has out is just to make him look like a real conserative, because they are all scared of Palin.

I think their platform has become whatever they think we will accept at election time. After the election is adjustable way to the left.

Redd Dogg, principles do matter! Character matters! Integrity matters! What "We the People..." want and need dearly is governance of the people, by the people and for the people! The ONLY WAY WE WILL GET THIS IS BY ELECTING CONSERVATIVES FROM THE REPUBLICAN PARTY...NOT RINOS!

INDEPENDENTS WILL BE JUST FINE WITH ME...IF THEY ARE FOR THE CONSTITUTION AND THE PEOPLE! HOFFMAN IS NOT A THIRD PARTY CANDIDATE...HE IS A CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN WHO HAD TO GET ON THE BALLOT AS AN INDEPENDENT BECAUSE THE FAT CAT, SO CALLED REPUBLICAN BOSS' CHOSE THE RINO , DINGBAT BROAD.
