O'Reilly used to be one of my favorite programs, but since the election of Obama he has seemed to give the administration a pass. Sure he does go after a few things that matter but has shyed away from direct confrontation with the administration. I have almost completely stopped watching as many others have.

Seems O'Reilly doesn't want to offend Obama. Bill O. is still quite amazed and flattered that obama appeared on his show and doesn't want to risk a any future deals by offending obama and the rest of the far left.

Just some food for thought, but are we NOT less than happy that the other news shows seem to be cheerleaders for the left and for Obama? A major complaint - and probably the main reason that their ratings are so far behind FOX ratings - is because they do NOT present fair or balanced reporting.

What is wrong with a news program that presents both sides of an issue? And does so without name calling or being rude to a guest? (Look at how conservatives have been treated on MSNBC - it's appauling - and totally unprofessional.)

If FOX allows itself to become "ANTI" everything liberal and Obama in a blatent way - they just become the conservative version of MSNBC. They are no better than the news networks that they are competing against.

That said; I have never particularly cared for O'Reilly. Just not enamoured with his personality - but I doubt ANYONE could be as enamoured with Bill as Bill himself is... LOL! The beauty of it all is that you don't have to agree with him or his program. You don't have to agree with his guest choices. But you do have to admit - when it comes down to REAL news - that is NOT just party rhtoric, FOX News is where we ((and so many others - judging by their ratings) find it.

The leftist news accuses FOX of being biased and of catering to the 'fringe' - but this is proof that they really don't. Even if you don't agree with people like O'Reilly and Rivera, they add a legitimacy to the ideal of fair and balanced programming - which the other networks refuse to do.

Aside from that - it is a protection against the government shutting down what they call ''conservative - right wing - propaganda' news, they'd be hard pressed to prove FOX's programming is using it's network to push a political ideal when there are programs that are clearly supportive of the opposing point of view.

There is nothing wrong with presenting both sides of the issues. That is not the issue! The issue is why does O'Reilly insist on using the far left, obnoxious, Marc Lamont Hill. I enjoy O'Reilly debating Juan Williams, but a scumbag like Hill should not be employed by Fox News.

Something has been different ever since Obama appeared on O'Reilly and it's not a good thing in my opinion. Nevertheless, he is still worth watching despite strong reliance on certain guests I don't like. Juan and Mark both irritate me to no end.

To lighten the mood, try this the next time Mark LaMont Hill is on Bill O'Reilly.

Mute the sound...watch Bill talk and then watch Mark's response.
Pretend it is a silent movie since you can't hear their words.
Take note it seems like Mark is being shown on fast-forward at 4x speed. He talks so fast!!!
It's actually quite hilarious and makes the show more bearable when this guest is on.

I've stopped watching O'Reilly because he may have a no-spin zone but he certainly doesn't have a no bs zone. And, despite his staff of "crack" researchers, even I can tell they often have their facts flat wrong.

O'Reilly might be trying to be fair and balanced but I quit watching him a while back because he perturbs me and he comes off as arrogant as BO...........sorry, he just rubs me the wrong way.

My thoughts exactly . I too, change the channel when when either of them appears . I am beginning to wonder about O'Reily's associations and some of his off the wall opinions . Could he be a democrat ??????
