Moving Forward after 9/12 and Did they hear us? We need your help to make this campaign go viral!
I said in my speech at the rally in DC that several senators expressed at the Liberty Summit that Congress knew we were there in DC and more were coming...as DeMint put it...you are all the buzz about Congress. That afternoon we discovered that while many were attempting to visit their elected official..most (especially the Dems) were on their way back home. Hahahaaa!
So in August many would not host their town hall sessions; afraid to hear opposition. Then many Americans travel at their own expense and these members of congress leave to go home. Sounds an awful lot like they are running to me. Then our esteemed prez travels to Minnesota to avoid us also.....They knew exactly what they were doing and they think they were sending a message that we are insignificant.....the small uninformed minority....meanwhile what I concluded is that we are Very Significant! I truly believe they re intimidated and know that the silent majority is waking up much quicker than any of them bargained for!
Believe me Patriots, they heard us loud and clear. We shut down a good portion of DC. Everyone in DC knew the silent majority is waking in great numbers and are fed up! Some say we don't have a common purpose and that our message is fragmented, some say we have no leader, some say so what have we accomplished and what now? I want to address these questions:
Our Message:
Over Spending...most of the issues fall into this one category
including Health care, omnibus, stimulus, etc....
Taxation....most of the issues involve higher taxes as a result of the overspending.
Constitutional Infringements....Everything falls into this category too including large government, czars, etc...
The reason the rally was called Taxpayers March on DC is because everything effects the taxpayers and the taxpayers are sick and tired of spending way beyond our means.
Moving forward is critical....Flip this House will be crucial to the plan....We will be adding more resources, tools, and info together for you on this program. If you haven't checked out the Flip pages yet please do so. Not only is it a message that conveys what we stand for it sends a clear message that needs to be diseminated to the masses. We need to really educate each and every person we can. You are all the ones who hve to carry this out. Connecting to the state and district groups, developing at the local level and organizing in your community groups. Setting up meetings...house ,meetings and anywhere you can have some space for free and invite a few people. We will be providing you with a power point presentation that you can use and talking points and other resources plus our Flip Gear!
The most important thing we can do right now is use the momentum of the movement and keep pressing forward. Copy the pics or videos or send your own to everyone on your email list. Americans are ready.....we need to draw them in and educate those who need education for a major change and win in Nov 2010.
This is the most critical time in our history, the next election is the most important election anyone could ever vote in. We have to work hard at organizing locally and in our districts....No time to waste. We will continue to support the movement with more resources over the next few months.
The numbers of people at the rally are important in that there were a lot of people there....however, do not get caught up in that. As far as the media...Fox has done a good job today with more pictures and information. CSpan has provided the only complete coverage of the event. pictures from you and videos are garnering a lot of attention on the net. Word of mouth is huge! If you don't believe that just take a look at the movement.
Do we need a leader? NO! You and me are all the leaders of the movement....Grassroots! We need sites like resistnet and others to work together and help in pulling together the resources available. Resistnet is a great umbrella site...we are the most organized. Under our umbrella many groups can connect, share and disseminate information, share events and volunteers and yet remain autonomous. I think what is critical right now is to resend any invitations that didn't result in your friend or family signing up. Also make it goal to invite 5 new people a week. There is power in knowledge and numbers. Together we can have both!
So move forward, work closely with other resistors in your state, districts and local groups, brainstorm, use flip this house, set up house meetings and let's make it a goal to invite 5 new members a week. While inviting and yet sharing with other groups that resistnet s a pipeline that can connect us all while remaining autonomous as a group.
Time to move fast and furious and keep up the pressure on DC on the important issues! Get involved with a watchdog group too and stay on top of a particular issue.

While the march was important and the upcoming elections are vital is there a organized movement in each state to work for changes in the legislature on the state basis? In my home state of Louisiana the House and Senate are using the blitz on the federal government as a way to hide their little cloak room deals on the state level. should we not support a clean sweep at all levels of government? I personally believe that local and state governments need to change just as does federal government. they all seem to be vermin and untrustworthy.

You are dead on accurate. We have them on the run for the first time. They not only heard us, they ran away from us. We have the advantige and can not afford to lose this momentum. Up the rhetoric and attack the media. Start small stands with documents and pamphlets. Be bold with your initive and adress the tough issues. We just had the largest rally in American history and we have a stronger voice now than Martin Luther King did. My Fellow Americans, WE ARE WINNING THIS FIGHT!!!!!!!

A group of us traveled to Washington, D.C. (via plane at our OWN expense); even though none of us could really afford the expense. We simply felt we had to be there. Congress and the Nation needed to realize that the taxpayers of this country are truly upset at the soaring deficits, and spending gone out-of-control! We stayed at the REGENCY HYATT ON THE HILL. The atmosphere was electric!! The entire hotel was full of patriots for the march on dc. We've never marched, or been part of any political groups. We were there to try & get our Country back from a Congress and a President; who simply can't understand what our problem is .. Hopefully, with at least 1.7 million of us (just in Washington alone); they now know we mean business. It brought tears to our eyes that so many patriotic taxpayers took the time to make their way to DC. Our group was from Georgia; and believe me, seeing that so many citizens were just as concerned as we were, was truly gratifying. We will never forget the experience ... we are now firmly part of the SILENT NO MORE patriots!!!

What's our next move?
I have a suggestion. Have a co-ordinated protest against the Liberal Media. They chose our President and are involved in all the cover-ups, lies, etc. They also are co-ordinating with Obamarx and his minions as well as ignoring, ridiculing and insulting opposition to their policies.
We need to start holding them accountable for their actions. I recall this being planned for Saturday, Oct. 17th.
