Marine Combat Vet Told To Remove Patriotic Stickers

This story has just about pushed me over the edge.

Imagine, if you will, a bunch of high-falootin', snobbish, politically correct lefties who cherish their anonymity telling you that because you live within their homeowners association you must comply with their edicts and the head demagogue tells you they're offended by the patriotic decals on your car so you'll have to remove them, because they violate association rules.

My full-sized van has all manner of stickers on the rear from everything anti-Obama to my 2nd Amendment stuff. I don't live in any damn homeowner's association, but nobody has ever said word one to me about them or the ones on my full-view glass storm door at home here. If anyone ever did ther'd be Hell to pay and I can guarantee that. Those choosing to knock on my front door are greeted by this simple caveat:

Imagine also that in this country it's gotten so bad that some hen-picked representative of a homeowners' association who gets off at being a demagogue and acting like Caeser to make up for being p*ssy-whipped the rest of his awakened hours by a tyrannical wife, most likely..., thinks he can trump a citizens constitutional rights. I would have initiated legal action so quick against him naming him, personally, as a defendent along with the damned homeowners' association he purports to represent that he wouldn't know what time of day it was. I certainly hope this Marine goes after them. There is nothing so gratifying as taking someone to court on a matter like this and suing for $1. and gaining a "precedent" based victory that defines such an action as a direct violation of and unreasonable abuse to another citizen's First Amendment right to freedom of speech. When expression of political and patriotic sentiment are attacked as "advertisements" under the guise of having violated a "private" covenant of a "private" association that "private" association is looking for trouble. The individual initiating THAT cannot be allowed to weasel out of responsibility and accountability and neither can the "board", if they consented to the directive. This is a clear case of standing on one's principles and not being intimidated.

This situation is a microcosmic metaphor for TODAY in America. Substitute Obama for the assocation's board President and his administration as the other members of that board. Now replace retired Marine Frank Larison with the people of the United States who oppose Obama and there you have it!

Is it just me or do you agree that 99% of our problems today always boil down to assuming a simple sense of responsibility...... over being irresponsible?
