For Those Who Haven't Sworn Their Oath To Protect The US Constitution - Here Is Your Chance!

I, J. Irving, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.''

Now copy the words above in your response, replace my name for yours, and pledge!

By pledging, you affirm that you have placed your hand upon the Bible, and you intend to keep your promise, FOR LIFE!

Peace to all,
J. Irving

I, Ruth Petersen, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter, so help me God!
Many years ago, when I enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard and later when I worked in the securities industry, I took the oath to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic .. " and one thing we must remember, once we have taken this oath, it is for life, as there is no oath or instrument that will render it null and void. I only wish our elected Congress members, our President and his cabinet members, the federal judges and the Justices of the SCOTUS would honor their oath and adhere to our American values and principles. We cannot allow anyone, especially a domestic enemy, to throw our great nation into chaos. The last time I watched Illinois politicians being sworn into office, I noted that only one individual uttered the words, "so help me God."

Don't be a smart ass, please.

You were elected to the office of "Protectors Of Freedom"

Now pledge the oath, or do not respond!

Douglas were you requesting information on the Edenton, NC tea Party? If so, it will be held in Edenton, NC at the Courthouse lawn on April 15, 2009. 5:30 PM pronto. If you are in South Carolina, it may be closer for you to attend the Raleigh, NC Tea Party on that same day. There may be closer ones in your state. Let me know if I can help in any way.

I did even better. I have actually signed the Constitution! If you go to the Constitution Center in Philadelphia, there is a room with life-like statues of all of the signers of the Constitution, and you can sign the Constitution along with them. It's a very inspiring place!

Well, how about you back up your affirmation here? But I must admit, I have never been there, sounds interesting.

There is no greater challenge, no greater honor and no greater sacrifice than the perils of defending our constitution in the dark days ahead. May God bless all those who do their part, big and small, as we move forward and take back America, restoring it to its rightful place of faith and glory. We have a morale obligation to stand for the values our founders stood for, bled for and died for. I will do all I can and encourage others to join the fight, for I am an AmeriCAN!
