I am encouraged and enlighted by this approach to the current delimma we find ourselves faced with, in our governments REFUSAL to listen to or RESPOND to the NUMEROUS petitions of greivances that have been put before them by the American People! I will be watching this broadcast with hope and intense interest!

And to Everyone else, according to the broadcast link, the coverage will start at 4 PM and the Opening Ceremonies will be at 5 PM CST, so you haven't missed anything yet!

For those that don't know, on October 10th, 2009, We The People of this United States, elected Delegates to attend this Continental Congress in our stead. There should be 3 Delegates from each of the 50 States in attendence, (I understand that some states did not have 3 Delegates nominated, so they will have less, but All 50 will be represented).

The hope inspiring part of it is that these Delegates are Freedom loving, Constitutionalist, like US, with the best interest of America, in their hearts and on their minds! Let's pray that the Lord will give them the wisdom needed and help them to brain-storm and come up with a collective approach to dealing with this unresponsive, Unconstitutional, Government we now have in place!

I am sure many in the 1700's felt the same way that is why around only 3 percent fought in the Revolutionary War. Now, with that said, with all of the History about the American Revolution and how it came about should we not try to peacefully resolve this in order to exhaust every possible peaceful means first? This Continental Congress is not party affiliated since both parties have been guilty of violating the Constitution. At least as you say if Revolution should transpire we can say that we tried every possible peaceful means first and that it was therefore forced upon us as a free people by an unresponsive Government, that by the Grace of God Almighty will remain free.; ▶ Reply to This

I was not able to watch yesterday, (I had to work, darnit!), but I will be watching off and on today. There is so much work for them to do, I wonder if they will be able to get to everything. It seems to be going pretty slowly, but then I have missed some of it too. And, everyone is learning as they go! See, even adults have things to learn, and what an education!
What a wonderful History and or Government lesson for the kids out there being home Schooled! I hope the Parents are taking advantage of this opportunity to allow their kids to see our form of government in action, this is History in the making! I doubt very seriously that the Public Schools will allow the Students to watch anything like this, lest they get any ideas of rebelling against the stais quo! As the Delegate said, "We are still a free people in this society, and we need to freely excersise those freedoms to speak out and inform and educate each other!"
