Be a direct influence on your party and become a Precinct Chair!

Precinct chairs are the backbone of county parties. There are  425 Republican Precinct Chair vacancies and 228 Democratic  Precinct Chair vacancies in Harris County.   Precinct Chairs represent  their  party and work within their precinct in the following areas:
• Canvass, organize and campaign,  
• Serve on Harris County Executive Committees, usually as a Primary election judge, and 
• Conduct precinct conventions.
In all open precincts, chances are you will run unopposed and will win.  Learn more about  this chance to influence the party and become a part of change that you can believe in.
 
Please attend a one hour educational session designed to give you the information that you need to run for Precinct Chair.  The filing deadline is January 2, 2010 at 6:00 pm.
